Wow, I’ve seen these for years and I’d never heard the words ‘Bodum’ or ‘French press’. I’m afraid I’ve gone the way of Nespresso in my pursuit for great coffee but I definitely need to keep one of these on deck for travelling or whenever my machine isn’t available.
Which region do you think grows the and brews the perfect bean?

      Hi Ryan,

This is definitely a great product for traveling. It’s so compact that you can easily take it with you when you’re on the go.

In terms of which region grows the perfect bean, I would have to say either Ethiopia or Columbia in my opinion.

Thanks for taking the time to comment and for dropping by.

I currently have an espresso maker in my kitchen, but I remember back to one time it wasn’t working for some reason and we didn’t have any coffee.

This was of course unacceptable and we needed to get some quickly, and we didn’t feel like walking to Starbucks or Mcdonald’s. So instead we bought one of those Bodum coffee makers.

The coffee was excellent but I’m not the patient type so I’ll stick to my espresso machine.

I totally understand where you’re coming from. I do agree that French Press coffee is excellent and you are right in that the brewing process does require some patience.

Thanks for taking the time to drop by and comment.

Thanks so much for this wonderful review on the Bodum Brazil coffee maker.

I’m a real coffeeholic and have always wanted to purchase a Bodum. This one seems ideal, but you mention that despite, the label saying it’s 12 oz, you can only make an 8 oz cup. What model would be the next size up to be able to fill my 16 oz travel mug?
